The Meditation Tubs
These large Deco tiled tubs, coined the “meditation tubs” are original to The Charles, re tiled in 2023 and built for deep healing of the body and mind. These tubs are originally meant for individual soaking, (quiet couples are allowed to co-bathe if thats your thing) Take a moment to honor the body, the water, and the rich pulp that gives life meaning, we welcome you to show up, turn off, tune in, and calibrate. The meditation tubs are 12$ a person per hour, are drain and fill for optimal water quality, and are cleaned between uses. These tubs are available on a walk in basis, first come first serve. Guests who are staying in the Motel gain access included with their stay.
Outdoor Tub on the Roof.
Our Roof top tub(s) boast star studded views at night and a grand deck to get some solid vitamin D doses during the day. This is a still pool, despite its prior life as a jetted tub, so please understand. We pump the same geothermal mineral dense water up to the roof to fill these tubs. Rented long into the evening “the roof top” is a great way to soak with your friends. Available by reservation. 20$ a person per hour. 2 for 30.
Our Mineral Springs pump naturally from our wells at a wavering 110* (sometimes a couple degrees lower, sometimes a bit warmer) we offer cool water to accommodate all bodies. We have an original 1940s style medical bathhouse indoors with Large Individual tiled tubs a newly Tiled Bath House and a Vintage original to The Charles. We also offer private roof top tubs** for those that would like; a walled yet open air, star studded experience.

Our Indoor meditation tubs with Mineral rich waters are included for those that are staying with us, additional outdoor soaks are 20$ for one person upstairs in the private group tub or (2 for 30+10 each additional person up to 4) Hot Tub #1 and #2 on the roof are still** pools .
**We had jets at one time yet the misuse of them on a continued basis has frozen up the systems, we have temporarily chosen to go without them on the roof to continue accessible costs for guest wanting to stargaze and cloud watch in our roof top tubs at a rate that makes the healing experience affordable. We have growing project that will reinstate them yet we believe the silence on the rooftop without them is somewhat enchanting.
While we grow our space to accommodate multiple soaking options we are thankful of your understanding in our ability to keep rates low. All of our tubs are drain and fill, cleaned in between guests and private. The price does not include towels, towel rental is 2$. We happily invite those who are not staying on premises to book by the hour via walk in or reservation for either option.
